STONE SOUR To Film 'Sillyworld' Video Next Week

STONE SOUR will follow up the smash success of its single "Through Glass" with "Sillyworld", the second track headed to radio from the band's sophomore album, "Come What(ever) May". The group will also shoot a video for the song next week, according to an online posting by the group's guitarist Josh Rand.

In a recent interview with Launch, STONE SOUR singer Corey Taylor stated about the new single's video, "We wanna do something conceptual, we wanna do something that's fairly animated. I mean, something that's gonna be as stirring as the music and the content of the lyrics."

As previously reported, STONE SOUR will perform a live acoustic set at The Edge (102.1 FM) Monday, January 8, 2007 at 3:45 p.m.

STONE SOUR's second album, "Come What(ever) May", has been certified gold for sales of more than 500,000 copies. A track from the CD, "30/30-150", has been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance.

STONE SOUR is currenty on the road in Canada as the opening act for EVANESCENCE. A European tour will follow in February and March.
